How to use DuoBoard

  1. Add the widget

    Touch and hold your Home Screen, then add DuoBoard.

  2. Invite your duo

    Create a canvas and share the iCloud invitation using Invite.

  3. Adjust your photo

    Move or zoom the photo. The square crop is applied when you post.

  4. Draw and animate

    Draw with your finger, adjust the brush and enable Animate drawing.

  5. Save your recap

    Replay the last 7 days and save the animation to Photos.

    Add another board and invite the people you choose to each one.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change my name?

Open Settings in DuoBoard and tap Name. This name appears on your shared posts.

How do I connect with someone?

Tap Invite and send the iCloud invitation, for example using Messages. The other person must open it with DuoBoard installed and their own iCloud account. A free board supports two people.

Why does the widget take time to update?

A post is saved on your iPhone first, then synced through iCloud. The app displays its progress. Your connection, Low Power Mode and the update frequency allowed by iOS may delay the widget.

Where do videos and animated drawings play?

The widget displays the cover. Open DuoBoard and hold the canvas on the main screen to play it.

How do I restore Premium?

In DuoBoard Settings, tap Restore purchase using the Apple account that made the purchase. Premium is a one-time purchase. It shares features with your duo and allows groups and additional boards.

What is included in the recap?

Posts from the last seven days. The preview is free; saving the animation and downloading posts requires Premium.
